I teach freedom
Andrew’s teaching method is nuanced, beginning by gaining a deep understanding of where you are on your musical journey, comprehending your vision of where you’d like to be as a guitarist & musician, and then crafting a customised curriculum for you to reach your goals as efficiently and enjoyably as possible.

All tabs, notes, and custom videos pertaining to the lesson delivered as part of the booking.

Sessions are remote (via WhatsApp, FaceTime, Google Meet or Zoom), or in person if geography and schedule permits (arranged ahead of time).

You can learn chords.
You can memorize patterns.
You can watch another hundred tutorials.
Or you can finally understand what you’re doing — and why it sounds the way it does.
I offer private guitar lessons for beginners and developing musicians who want more than mechanical progress. We work on sound, rhythm, touch, structure, and most importantly — musical thinking.
This is not about “learning songs.”
It’s about learning how to make music.
Who These Lessons Are For
These lessons are for you if:
  • You’re starting from zero but want a strong, intelligent foundation.
  • You’ve been playing for years but feel stuck in the same patterns.
  • You can copy, but you don’t fully understand.
  • You want to move into fingerstyle with clarity and control.
  • You feel that music should be deeper than just chords and strumming.
  • You want to compose your own pieces but don’t know where to begin.
You don’t need talent.
You need direction.
What Makes My Approach Different
There are many guitar teachers.
Most teach shapes. Some teach songs. A few teach technique.

I teach awareness.
  • Technique That Serves Expression
Fingerstyle, rhythm, articulation, tone production — not as gymnastics, but as tools for storytelling.
  • Musical Understanding
You’ll understand harmony, structure, and phrasing — without academic overload. Theory becomes practical and usable.
  • Creative Development
    Improvisation. Composition. Arrangement.
Even simple pieces can sound unique when you understand texture and dynamics.
  • Real Sound From Day One
We work on tone immediately. Your touch, your right hand, your control of silence — these matter more than speed.
What You Will Learn
Depending on your level, we may work on:
  • Building a solid technical foundation
  • Developing clean and confident fingerstyle technique
  • Rhythm and groove (so your playing actually breathes)
  • Understanding harmony without drowning in theory
  • Navigating the fretboard freely
  • Arranging pieces for solo guitar
  • Creating your own compositions
  • Musical phrasing and dynamics
  • Stage mindset and performance confidence (if relevant)
Everything is adapted to you.
No copy-paste curriculum.
How Lessons Work
  • Format: Online (Zoom) or in-person (if available)
  • Duration: 60 minutes
  • Language: English / Russian
  • Frequency: Flexible (weekly recommended for steady growth)
After each lesson, you receive clear direction on what to practice and why.
Practice becomes structured — not chaotic.
A Few Words About Me
I’m a composer and performing guitarist. My path started on a small island and led to stages across different countries. Over the years, I developed a style that combines fingerstyle technique, improvisation, live electronics, and a strong sense of atmosphere.

Teaching, for me, is not separate from performing.

It’s the same process:
listening carefully, adjusting, refining, searching for clarity.

I’m not interested in producing “fast players.”
I’m interested in helping musicians think independently.
